MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe photographs are evidence of our existence. They tell our family history, show our identities and the love in our relationships. Capturing special moments and creating timeless, tangible pieces of art for your family is a passion of mine. It's an honor to have clients welcome me into their lives for a few hours and trust me to record the moments that will soon become their memories.

When you look at the photographs of your children hanging on the walls of your home or see their sweet young faces on the pages of an album, I want you to remember the experience and the personal attention given to you and your family. I want you to cherish the beauty and quality of the images and the memories of your children that will last for generations.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION

We will start with a phone call where we talk about your goals for the photo session. We will talk about your kids and their personalities, your style, what kinds of things you enjoy doing as a family. I want to get to know you so I can tell YOUR story.

THE SESSION

Sessions usually last about two hours depending on the ages of your kids. I'm open to photograph you in any place that's special to you, but home sessions are my favorite since that is usually where your family is most comfortable. I also love to incorporate the home environment in the images. It's important for children to see where they grew up. Children change their interests and taste so much as they grow, it's meaningful to capture some of their favorite spaces and playthings. During the session, I’ll take my time observing and capturing moments as they naturally unfold. I do give some direction and minimal posing so as to get a few traditional "portraits" but the images of connection, love and laughter - the natural moments are really the ones that you will cherish for years to come. 

POST SESSION 

This is the best part! Within two weeks of your session, we will set up an online meeting where I will do a viewing presentation with about 50-75 images in a slideshow format with music. I then help you choose your favorite images to make an album, wall art and/or desk prints or other printed offerings. I am a strong advocate of printing your photos so as to really enjoy them. For sharing on social media or email - digital files are included with each print purchase and print quality digital files are included with a minimum purchase of prints/albums.
